So be honest... Does this make me an abusive mother???
We bought Cash a really "cozy" neoprene lifejacket because we like to live on the boat in the summer. We thought it would be a great idea to try it on him because we know he will just love to boat as much as we do. Well we found out that a big yellow lifejacket (neoprene or not) is not one of Cash's favorite things.
So to fix this little problem we decided to have lifejacket time during the day. We have story time, play time, tummy time, saucer time, bumbo time... So we thought that lifejacket time would be a grand idea... Cash doesn't really agree. We're starting out with 5 minutes a day because boating season is just around the corner and we already have two Lake Powell trips planned. Wish us luck. I think we're going to need it. Especially if Cash is going to be wake-boarding by the end of the summer!

That there is TOO funny! Great idea though. I'm sure he will hate being with out it by the end of the summer.
Ha! Ha! I am glad that I am not the only mom that "practices" but we practice in our car seat because my little guy does not like it.
That's awesome! It might be a really good way for him to get to like his life jacket!! I'm sure Ko would wig out if he had to put one on!
Abusive...no. But I really doubt he'll be loving it any time soon! The trips to Powell do sound fun though! Give him a little time and he'll be begging to wear it (a year or two?)
