So I feel a little redundant posting stuff on here because I already post it on facebook. But just for my sister and those others that bug me about never posting, here we go....

Not a ton has been going on here except my growing belly, lots of work (for me), lots of school (for Matt) and lots of new words for Cash. Oh and baby number two is healthy and beginning to earn his name (Jett) He's a kicker!

I've been getting into photography a little bit lately and I've started to take a couple of pictures of my favorite little model. Such a handsome man! This is the latest...

The wishlist... Not too much to ask, right?

So I was at the doctor's office yesterday and saw this um... well, we'll call it a playhouse for lack of a better word. It really looks like something out of Disneyland though. I was thinking that Grandpa and Daddy could whip this number out in a weekend or so if I ask really nice :) or we could just order it or something... No worries... It's only $26,000. But I really think Cash would make such a cute pirate.

Happy Birthday To YOU!!!

We had a birthday party for Cash with some family on the day of his birthday. We found out that he really loves cake and he really loves to open presents. Who knew?!?

Not gonna lie... I have a really hard time keeping up with the blog and facebook at the same time. It's one or the other. Both seem to be beyond me. Anyway... Here's some updated pictures. And today is Cash's birthday. So big... Pictures to come soon.

Lake Powell

So I'm having a really hard time keeping up with the blog and facebook. I've been told I need to blog more often. Sorry!

We've had a really busy summer. It's been great though! Lots and lots of playing. Here's the latest.

Doggy Time

I know what you're thinking... It's not photoshopped though. Cash is really touching a dog! I'm pretty proud of myself actually. I'm working hard on putting my germ issues behind me. Not only that, but if I was going to let him touch a doggy this would be the one. He's SO cute!

I just couldn't resist when he started reaching for the puppy. Except for now I think that Duke might be scared of Cash. He doesn't know what "soft" means yet. But he was a very good sport.

Recap!!!

So it's been a while since I've blogged. We've had a ton going on and it's been hard to sit down and write about it all.

First of all was Lake Powell. Cash loved it! Can you tell? I kept trying to get him to smile for a picture and I think he got a little annoyed.

I finally had a girls night! It was a blast to see all the girls. It's so hard to get together that this little adventure was a month in the making.
Cash had his first haircut by aunt Britt. She's been wanting to cut it since the day he was born and I finally caved once she pointed out his 3 inch stragglers. He wasn't too sure about how losing his luscious locks made him feel.
This is what happens when mom has a girls night and the boys are left to fend for themselves. Bound to be the next Tiger Woods.
And, last but not least... Cash turned six months old and is pretty proud of himself that he can sit up now. He gets so excited that he starts to shake his arms and falls over.

What a fun day

Today was such a beautiful day that we decided we had to get out and enjoy it! We decided to go hiking up AF canyon. We had a great time with Britt and Jeff. Cash was such a little trooper too. He was a little unsure of the backpack at first but then Matt started walking and it was all good from there. Cash fell asleep half way through and didn't wake up until we got back to the truck.

What a lucky mommy!

This was my first mother's day. WHAT A TREAT! I sure have a great husband. He spoiled me all day. He didn't let me lift a finger. He topped it off with doing dinner and all the dishes. I'm so lucky to have him and my little man. They make me the HAPPIEST mommy in the whole world!

Nervous... Yeah, That's an Understatement!

We had these three 85' trees in our backyard that we've been wanting to take down for a while because the roots tear up our grass in the backyard and we've been wanting to put in a sprinkler system. We got a quote for someone to come over and it seemed pretty expensive just for them to knock them down. We would still have to haul them out ourselves. So Matt decided he wanted to do it himself. So with the help of our dad's and my sister's husband Jeff and a few neighbors they were able to knock them down.

I can't believe it but we were so lucky! No major damage. We're going to have to fix the fence in a few places but no house damage. Whew! I could barely watch! After you watch the video maybe you'll understand! (Sorry it's sideways, my bad!)

5 months old today

Lake Mead

We were a little nervous because it was Cash's first time out on a boat and sleeping in our trailer. It was a big weekend but the little munchkin passed with flying colors! He fussed when we first put his lifejacket on but was such a trooper the rest of the time. It was so nice to get away... Especially to someplace warm since it's been an eternal winter at home.
